Chapli Kebab
A very simple recipe for Chapli Kebab
Ingredients
- 2 lb Ground Beef (90+% lean)
- 2 cups Onion (Chopped)
- 1 Jalapeno (Chopped)
- 2 cups Tomatoes (Deseeded)
- 2 cups Cilantro (Chopped)
- 8 cloves Garlic
- 10 tbsp Besan Flour Gram Flour
- 1½ tsp Salt
- 4 tbsp Coriander Seeds (Roasted and Crushed)
- 2 tsp Kashmiri Chili Powder
- 4 tsp Garam Masala (all spice)
- 4 Eggs
Instructions
- Roast the coriander seeds in an oven toaster for 2 minutes. Grind coarse in a coffee grinder

- Roast the besan (gram flour), in the over toaster for 3 minutes

- Deseed the tomatoes and chop them

- Chop all the ingredients

- Place all the ingredients in a food processor along with all the spices and coriander seeds. Blend until everything is chopped medium to coarse

- Place the ground beef, the spice mix, besan and 4 eggs in a large mixing bowl and mix all the ingredients. If it is too watery add more besan 1 tbsp at a time

- Make kebab patties and fry them on medium, 5 mins on each side

- Hot chapli kebabs ready to serve!
