BBQ Ribs or Chops – Baked


Baked BBQ Ribs or Chops
Very easy recipe to make baked BBQ ribs or chops. It is a slow bake recipe so plan ahead!
Ingredients
- 3 lb Beef Chops or Ribs
- 3 tbsp Olive Oil
- Liquid Smoke optional
- 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tbsp Onion Powder
- 1 tbsp Blackened Seasoning I use Kinder's brand
- 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 2 tsp Chili Powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Smoked Paprika or regular
- 2 tsp Dry Oregano or Italian Seasoning
- BBQ Sauce chose your favorite
Instructions
- Wash the meat and dry in paper towels

- Mix all the spices in a bowl

- Rub the liquid smoke into the meat. Then rub in the olive oil. Sprinkle the spice mix evenly over the meat

- Cover the blow with a plastic wrap and place in the fridge for 2 hours
- Preheat the over to 250 F
- Place the meat on to a foil lined tray

- Cover the tray with foil. Try to seal it completely

- Place the tray on the middle rack. Bake for 3 hours. If you have a thicker cut, add 30 minutes
- After the bake time, remove from oven

- Brush on your favorite BBQ sauce.

- Set the oven to broil
- Place the try back into the over and let it broil for 2-3 minutes.

- The chops or ribs are ready to serve!
